Dr Catherine Minto-Bain, MRCOG, MB ChB,
Medical Director, Consultant Gynaecologist, Trinidad & Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre

Dr Minto-Bain is the lead clinician and Medical Director of Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre. She is a fertility expert and, under her direction, the clinic has grown into one of the largest and most successful fertility centres in the Caribbean.
Dr Minto-Bain received her medical degree from Bristol University, UK, and undertook residency in Obstetrics and gynaecology at Kings College Hospital London and University College London Hospitals, before proceeding to a clinical research post in Reproductive Gynaecology at University College London. She emigrated to Trinidad from the UK in 2004.
Her current research interests are in the assessment and understanding of female infertility in Trinidad and Tobago, especially egg quality issues, low AMH levels, PCOS and miscarriages. Dr Minto-Bain sees patients in all our fertility clinic locations and is the lead physician in the IVF programme.
She is a member of the Royal College Of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the British Society of Paediatric Gynaecology, the British Medical Association, and the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), as well as a lecturer and examiner for the University of the West Indies in Women’s health.
